How Does Protect-IT Offsite Backup Work?

After the installation of software by Air-IT, we will work with you to select the files and directories that carry your company's mission critical data. The first time a full offsite backup is completed, the selected files are encrypted and compressed and are sent to the Air-IT's offsite servers for safe storage through a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection. From then on, an incremental backup is performed daily and any changes to data on the server will be updated.

At Air-IT we fully understand the importance of security. You won't have to worry about your valuable information. Your data is compressed and encrypted to military levels prior to transmission and stored in two state-of-the-art highly secure data centres, working to BS7799 standards.
